Fried Turkey

Ingredients

  • 10 to 12 lb. thawed and well drained turkey
  • Italian dressing (either bought or homemade; olive oil type best)
  • liquid crab boil to taste
  • 5 gal. peanut oil

Directions

    Mix crab oil and dressing.

    Inject turkey and marinate overnight.
  3. 3
    Drain excess marinade.
  4. 4
    Bring peanut oil to 350° (I use fish fryer).
  5. 5
    Drop whole turkey in oil for 4 minutes per pound.
  6. 6
    Make sure oil stays at 350°.
