- 1 (12 to 14 lb.) turkey
- 2 gal. cooking oil
Directions

1Dry and season turkey (inside and out).

2Heat oil until temperature reaches 375°.

3Place turkey in oil.

4Cook 3 1/2 minutes per pound.

5Place on a platter.

6Cook 1/2 hour before carving. You must use a thermometer to check temperature of oil. Oil must be kept at 325° while cooking.
