  • 3 teaspoons lard
  • 4 ounces monterey jack cheese

Directions

    Boil 4 cups pinto beans in water for 2 hours until soft and tender.

    heat u p a skillet add lard and heat until almost smoking.

    add beans and heat up until they reach a hard boil.

    Mash and continue to boil for about 3 minuets.

    Serve and add cheese to taste.

    Eat with either corn or flour tortillas.
