  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 scant c. shortening
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 c. sour milk
  • vanilla

Directions

    Mix first three ingredients. Combine flour, cocoa & soda together. Add flour mixture alternately with milk to the mixed 3 ingredients. Drop by tsp. on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350°. When cool, frost with chocolate frosting.
