  • 1 tsp. table salt
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. vinegar
  • 1 tsp. celery seed
  • 1 tsp. mustard seed
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 grated carrot
  • 1 grated mango

    Grate the cabbage; mix with the salt and let stand in a bowl for 1 hour.
