  • 4 c. cucumbers, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 to 3/4 onion, sliced
  • 4 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • 3/4 to 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. vinegar
  • 2 tsp. dill weed

Directions

    Combine cucumbers, onion, salt and water.

    Let stand 2 hours; drain.

    Don't rinse.

    Add sugar, vinegar and dill weed.

    Let stand until cucumbers are covered with liquid, about 1/2 hour.

    Stir occasionally.

    Put in containers and freeze.
