Frozen Fruit Chunks

Ingredients

  • 2 c. sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. (20 oz.) crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 banana, diced
  • 1 c. miniature marshmallows
  • red food coloring
  • 1/4 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 c. dark sweet cherries, pitted and drained

Directions

    Combine all but cherries.

    Use enough red food coloring to tint pink. Cut cherries in half or chop.

    Fold cherries into mixture.

    Spread into lightly oiled Pyrex dish (13 1/2 x 8 3/4 x 1 3/4-inch).

    Freeze until firm.

    Cut into chunks with sharp knife. Serve on lettuce or in sherbet dish or eat like a popsicle.
