3 ounces, weight Milk Chocolate, Broken Into Pieces
2 teaspoons Powdered Hot Chocolate Mix
1-1/2 Tablespoon Sugar
1-1/2 cup Whole Milk
3 cups Crushed Ice
1 cup Whipped Cream
4 Tablespoons Chocolate, Shaved

Directions

Put the the 3 ounces of chocolate in a microwave safe bowl. Heat it in the microwave in 15 second intervals until melted, stirring in between each additional 15 second heating. Then add the hot chocolate mix and sugar into the melted chocolate. Stir until completely melted and combined. Slowly stir in the 1/2 cup of milk until smooth. Cool to room temperature.

Add the remaining cup of milk to a blender and mix in the room-temperature chocolate mixture and the ice. Blend on high until smooth.

Pour into a glass and top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.
