  • 8 cups thinly sliced cucumbers
  • 1 extra large onion, sliced thin
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 2 1/4 cup white sugar

    Mix cucumbers, onions and salt and refrigerate two or more hours.

    Drain off liquid and add vinegar and sugar.

    Put in desired containers and freeze.

    Makes about six pints.

    Defrost and enjoy.
