  • 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 c. chopped walnuts
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 c. softened vanilla ice cream
  • 1 (8 oz.) can pineapple chunks, drained (for garnish)

Directions

    In a large bowl, combine first 6 ingredients.

    Spoon salad evenly into 8 custard cups; cover and freeze 8 hours, or until firm.

    Before serving, place in refrigerator for 1 hour; garnish with pineapple chunks.
