Ingredients

  • 1 c. white vinegar (5%)
  • 1 c. water
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. celery seed
  • 4 c. broccoli flowerets
  • 4 c. cauliflower flowerets
  • 1 large carrot, scraped and shredded
  • 1/2 chopped green pepper
  • 1/2 chopped red sweet pepper
  • 1 chopped, medium onion
  • 1 tsp. salt

Directions

    Combine first 4 ingredients in a saucepan; bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.

    Boil for 1 minute, then cool.

    Combine remaining ingredients in a bowl.

    Add vinegar mixture and toss. Pack into 4 (1 pint) freezer containers.

    Cover and label. Freezes up to 1 month.

    Thaw in refrigerator about 8 hours.
