- 1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 6 Tbsp. margarine
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 1/2 c. Raisin Bran cereal
- 1/2 c. date crystals or chopped dried fruit
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- melted butter to brush tops
- cinnamon-sugar to sprinkle
Directions

1Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.

2Cut in margarine. Beat eggs and milk together, then add date crystals to soften. Stir egg mixture into flour mixture; blend well.

3Turn dough onto lightly floured board and pat to 3/4-inch thick.

4Cut into 12 scones; place on greased baking sheet.

5Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar.

6Bake at 425° for 10 to 12 minutes.
