- 3/4 c. sugar
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 2 beaten eggs
- 1/2 c. chopped dates
- 2 c. Rice Krispies
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. flaked coconut
Directions

1Put first 4 ingredients in cold frypan.

2Cook about 10 minutes over medium heat.

3Remove from heat.

4Stir into it vanilla, 2 cups Rice Krispies and 1 cup chopped nuts.

5Dip teaspoon in ice water, then drop by teaspoonfuls into flaked coconut.

6Roll to coat evenly.

7Chill before serving.

8Makes about 35 (1 1/2-inch) balls.
