  • 2 c. nuts, cut coarsely
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 1/2 c. light brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla flavoring
  • 1 1/4 c. plain flour
  • 1/2 c. candied pineapple
  • 1/2 c. candied cherries, cut in 1/2
  • 5 oz. diced dates

Directions

    Mix butter, brown sugar, eggs, flour and flavoring.

    Spoon over fruit.

    Grease a pan with butter.

    Place nuts in bottom.

    Layer in cherries, pineapple and dates.

    Cook 1 hour at 300° (maybe less). Use a large biscuit pan.
