  • 1 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 stick melted margarine
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 c. sifted plain flour
  • 1/2 lb. candied pineapple
  • 1/2 lb. candied cherries
  • 1 c. chopped nuts

Directions

    Put 1 cup chopped nuts in bottom of square pan.

    Mix in bowl the remaining ingredients, except candied fruits.

    Pour over nuts. Mash candied fruit

    to the top.

    Bake at 325° for 1/2 hour.

    Cut into squares.
