- 1 stick butter or oleo
- 1 1/2 c. light brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- dash of salt
- 1/2 lb. candied pineapple
- 1/2 lb. candied cherries
Directions

1Grease 10 x 15 x 1-inch pan.

2Cover bottom with pecans.

3Make batter of other ingredients except pineapple and cherries; pour batter over pecans and press it in with dampened hands.

4Cut fruit and press in slightly to mix evenly.

5Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
