  • 24 oz. pitted dates, cut in 2 or 3 pieces
  • 1 lb. candied cherries (whole)
  • 1 lb. candied pineapple slices (cut in 8 pieces)
  • 2 c. sifted flour
  • 2 tsp. double-acting baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 to 2 lb. pecan halves

Directions

    Mix dates, whole cherries and pineapple slices in large bowl. Combine flour, baking powder and salt and sift over fruits.
