- 1 1/2 lb. pitted dates
- 1 lb. candied pineapple
- 1 lb. candied cherries
- 2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 4 eggs
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 lb. pecan halves
Directions

1Cut dates and pineapple into fine pieces.

2Cut half of the cherries into 1/4 pieces and reserve the rest as whole.

3Mix well and set aside.

4Beat together eggs and sugar.

5Add flour and baking powder, mix well and add fruit and mix well.

6Add pecan halves. Preheat oven to 275°.

7Pour batter into 1 large tube pan that has be sprayed with oil.

8Bake 3 hours or use 1 pound loaf pan and bake 1 1/2 hours.
