  • 1 lb. butter
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 14 eggs (one at a time)
  • 1 tsp. vanilla, lemon and rum
  • 4 c. plain flour
  • 1 c. blackberry wine
  • 2 1/2 lb. candied cherries
  • 2 1/2 lb. candied pineapple
  • 2 1/2 lb. pecans
  • 1 small can black walnuts
  • 1/2 c. citrus mix

    Cream butter and sugar.

    Add eggs (one at a time), vanilla, lemon, rum, 3 cups flour and blackberry wine.

    Use remaining cup of flour and mix with fruit and nuts.

    Add fruit and nuts to batter.
