  • 1/2 lb. butter
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1/2 doz. eggs
  • 1 1/4 lb. candied cherries
  • 1 1/4 lb. candied pineapple
  • 1 1/4 lb. pecans
  • 1 tsp. lemon
  • 1 tsp. almond
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

    Cream the butter and sugar real well, then add 1 egg at a time, unbeaten.

    Take pecans and 1 cup of flour to flour fruit; pour batter over fruit and mix.

    Cook in pressure cooker for 1 hour at 10 pounds of pressure.

    Take out of cooker and cook in oven for 30 minutes at 250°.

    Can be baked in oven at 250° until done, 3 to 4 hours, without pressure.
