  • 1 (1 lb.) pkg. or 3 c. pitted dates
  • 4 oz. red candied pineapple chunks
  • 4 oz. green candied pineapple chunks
  • 4 oz. red candied cherries
  • 1 lb. shelled Brazil nuts or pecans
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 4 well beaten eggs
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. vanilla or rum flavoring

    Cut up dates; combine

    Line loaf pans with heavy paper (I use paper bags);
