- 2 c. flour
- 1/2 c. powdered sugar
- 1 c. butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/3 c. white sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1 c. chopped candied fruits
Directions

1Cut butter into 2 cups flour and powdered sugar.

2Press into 9 x 13-inch pan.

3Bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes.

4Sift next 3 ingredients together.

5Add slightly beaten eggs with sugar to flour mixture.

6Fold in nuts and fruits.

7Pour on baked crust. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

8Cut into squares while warm. Sprinkle powdered sugar on the top.
