  • 1 c. whiskey
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 Tbsp. milk
  • 3 c. flour
  • 3 scant tsp. soda
  • 2 tsp. allspice
  • 1/2 lb. red cherries, chopped
  • 1/2 lb. green cherries, chopped
  • 1/2 lb. pineapple, chopped
  • 6 c. nuts, chopped (walnuts and pecans)
  • 1 lb. raisins or dates

    Preheat oven to 225°.

    Grease cookie sheet.

    Mix first 5 ingredients.

    Add dry ingredients.

    Mix with fruits and nuts. Drop by spoonful onto greased cookie sheet.

    Bake at 225° (slow) for 20 to 30 minutes.
