  • 2 small cans coconut
  • 1 can Eagle Brand milk
  • 1 tsp. almond flavoring
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. cherries, cut up
  • 3 c. pecans, chopped
  • 1 c. fresh pineapple, cut up
  • 2 pkg. dates, cut up

Directions

    Mix flavoring and salt with milk.

    Pour over remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly.

    Bake in 2 (9 x 13-inch) pans, greased well and lined with several layers of brown paper.

    Bake 30 minutes at 250°, then at 275° for 20 minutes.

    Cool before cutting into fingers or bars.
