Ingredients

  • 4 cups sugar
  • 14 eggs
  • 8 c. Swans Down Flour
  • 1 lb. butter
  • 2 cans crushed pineapple
  • 2 lb. candied cherries
  • 1 lb. white pineapple, candied
  • 1/2 lb. green pineapple, candied
  • 1 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon flavoring
  • 1 box white raisins
  • 2 boxes chopped dates
  • 1 pkg. apricots, chopped
  • 1 small pkg. figs
  • all the pecans you want, chopped

Directions

    Combine all ingredients until well mixed.

    Grease and flour 3 tube pans.
  3. 3
    Fill pans approximately 2/3 full.

    Bake all 3 at once for 2 hours in 250° oven.

    Allow to cool.

    Remove from pans and cook the other 2.

    Leave batter for last 2 cakes in a bowl on the cabinet until 1st cakes are finished.
