  • 1 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 qt. fruit (with juice)

Directions

    Melt butter in a 9 x 13-inch casserole dish.

    Mix flour, sugar and milk into a batter and pour over butter.

    Spoon fruit over the batter and butter.
  4. 4
    Pour juice over all this and bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour at 375° until batter has cooked thoroughly and has browned.

    This works with any fruit.
