  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. shortening (Crisco)
  • 1/2 c. sweet milk
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 stick butter

    Bake at 350° for 45 minutes. Use any kind of berry or canned fruit.

    If fruit is sweetened, use less sugar; if apples are used, bring to a boil before putting in cobbler.
