- 2 c. self-rising flour
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 c. milk
- 1 1/2 sticks margarine
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 cans fruit, drained (reserve juice)
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Place margarine in pan and melt in oven.

3Slosh melted butter around pan to grease edges of pan. Place all ingredients (except fruit) in bowl and mix with mixer or hand.

4Pour into pan with melted margarine.

5Layer fruit over batter; if you saved your juice, pour it over batter.

6Bake for 30 minutes or until batter covers fruit and browns.

7Serves 6 to 8.
