- 3/4 stick margarine
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. self-rising flour
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1 can cherries, peaches, etc.
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 4 Tbsp. lemon juice
Directions

1Melt margarine in a 2-quart dish.

2Mix sugar, flour and milk together.

3Pour batter into the butter.

4Add cherries sweetened to taste.

5Add about 1 1/2 cups sugar and lemon juice.

6Do not stir or mix.

7Bake at 350° for about 40 to 50 minutes.

8Serve with whipped cream or plain.
