- 1 1/2 c. fresh fruit
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. water
- 1 egg
- 1 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 Tbsp. milk
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Directions

1Preheat oven to 375°.

2Grease 11 x 7 glass baking dish. Combine fruit, 1/2 c. sugar and water in saucepan.

3Bring to a boil stirring frequently.

4Keep mixture hot.

5Meanwhile with spoon, beat egg, sugar and margarine until fluffy.

6Add milk. Stir in flour, baking powder and salt.

7Spread batter in prepared pan. Pour hot fruit on top.

8Bake 25-30 minutes.

9Serve warm with cream.
