  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 qt. canned fruit or berries
  • 1/2 c. water

    from the first seven ingredients and pour into greased baking pan, 8 x 10 x 2-inch.

    Add canned fruit or berries and water. (If the fruit or berries are juicy, do not add the water.) Bake one hour at 350° or until golden brown.
