  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 can fruit cocktail (medium)
  • 1 egg (not beaten)
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 3/4 c. chopped nuts

Directions

    Sift together flour, sugar, baking soda and salt.

    Add fruit cocktail and egg.

    Pour into well-greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Sprinkle brown sugar and nuts on top.

    Bake in moderate oven at 350° for 60 minutes.

    Delicious served with whipped cream.
