  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 No. 2 can fruit cocktail (20 oz.)
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans

Directions

    Cream eggs and white sugar. Add canned fruit cocktail with juice and vanilla. Sift flour, salt and soda. Stir into first mixture. Pour in well greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan. Mix brown sugar and chopped pecans. Sprinkle on top of batter. Bake 45 minutes at 300°.
