  • 2 c. plain flour
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 (No. 2) can fruit cocktail
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts

Directions

    Sift together flour, sugar, soda and salt. Add eggs and fruit cocktail (and juice). Mix by hand. Pour into a well greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Sprinkle over batter the brown sugar and nuts. Bake in 325° oven 40 minutes, then cool.
