  • 1 1/2 c. sugar (no margarine)
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 can (medium) fruit cocktail with juice
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. chopped nuts

Directions

    Mix together all but last 2 ingredients and pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Sprinkle brown sugar and chopped nuts over cake before baking.

    Bake at 325° for 35 minutes.
