  • 2 cups Flour
  • 1-1/2 cup Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Soda
  • 1 dash Salt
  • 2 whole Eggs
  • 1 can Fruit Cocktail, Including Juice
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1/2 cups Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 cups Chopped Pecans

  • FOR FROSTING:
  • 1-1/4 cup Sugar
  • 3/4 cups Evaporated Milk
  • 1-1/2 stick Butter

Directions

    Whisk the flour, 1 1/2 cups sugar, baking soda, and salt together. Add the wet ingredients. Stir till just moistened.

    Pour into a greased 9x13 pan. Sprinkle the top of the cake with brown sugar and pecans. Bake at 350F for 40 minutes.

    Boil frosting ingredients together for 2 minutes. Pour over the hot cake.
