  • 2 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 (No. 303) can fruit cocktail with juice
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 small can Pet milk
  • 1/2 c. coconut
  • 1/2 c. nuts (pecans or walnuts)

Directions

    Mix flour and sugar; add fruit cocktail and egg and beat until smooth.

    Bake about 30 minutes at 350° in a 12 x 7 x 2-inch Pyrex pan.

    Let cool partially and cut into squares before putting on topping.
