  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. soda
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tall (No. 303) can fruit cocktail, well drained
  • 1/2 to 3/4 c. chopped nuts
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar

Directions

    Sift together first 4 ingredients three times.

    Add eggs, unbeaten.

    Add fruit cocktail.

    Mix together.

    Place in 9 x 15-inch pan, greased and floured.

    Sprinkle with nuts and brown sugar.

    Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
