Fruit Cocktail Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 big can fruit cocktail, drained
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar

Directions

    Sift dry ingredients; beat egg until light.

    Add fruit cocktail.

    Mix and pour into 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.

    Before baking, mix nuts and brown sugar and sprinkle over top of cake mixture. Bake at 325° for 30 minutes.

    Cool.

    Cut into squares.
