- 1 c. rolled oats (uncooked)
- 1/2 c. sifted flour
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 4 c. sliced, tart apples
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Combine rolled oats, flour, sugar, salt and cinnamon.

3Add melted butter to oatmeal mixture and mix with fork or pastry blender until well blended.

4Arrange fruit in buttered 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan or 2-quart baking dish.

5Spread oatmeal mixture on top of fruit.

6Bake 30 minutes or until tender and crust is brown.

7Serve warm or cold with milk, cream, whipped cream or ice cream.
