  • 1/2 box cake mix (regular size box) or 1 whole box Jiffy cake mix
  • 1 can prepared pie filling mix
  • 1 stick margarine or butter, melted
  • 1 c. shredded coconut
  • 1 c. chopped nuts

Directions

    Put pie filling on bottom of a 13 x 9-inch cake pan; spread evenly.

    Mix together dry cake mix, coconut and nuts.

    Sprinkle over pie filling.

    Drizzle melted butter over this.

    Bake at 375°, or 350° for glass dish, for 25 to 30 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.

    Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
