  • 1 c. butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1/2 can or carton filling (raspberry, strawberry or apricot)

    Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy, add yolks.

    Mix in flour and nuts.

    With fingers spread half of mixture in 8 x 8-inch pan.

    Cover with filling.

    Stay away from edges with filling.

    Cover with remaining mixture.

    Bake at 325° for 1 hour. Cut into small squares while still warm.
