- fresh strawberries or other fruit
- 1 1/2 c. light brown sugar
- 3 Tbsp. sweet butter
- 1/2 c. light cream
- 2 Tbsp. light rum
- 1/2 c. whipping cream, whipped
Directions

1Clean strawberries or other fruit and arrange on a platter. Combine sugar, butter and light cream in a saucepan.

2Bring to a boil and boil 3 minutes or until thickened.

3Remove from the heat. Add rum after sauce sits 3 to 5 minutes.

4Cool.

5Fold in whipped cream.

6Provide sauce for dipping the fruit.
