- 1 pound Salmon Fillet
- 1/2 cups Mayonnaise
- 1 Tablespoon Dill
- 1 teaspoon Lemon Pepper
- 2 Tablespoons Capers

1Start with a nice fillet of fresh salmon.

2Whatever size you get at the grocery store is suitable, I find a large fillet usually serves 4.

3Remove any obvious pin bones, rinse, and pat dry.

4Dont worry about the skin.

5Place your salmon in a large oven safe baking dish.

6A cookie sheet lined with foil makes for easy clean up.

7Salt and Pepper the salmon.

8Spread the salmon liberally with mayo, at least a cup for a large fillet.

9You want to frost it like a cake.

10Sprinkle the mayo frosted salmon with lots of dill, lemon pepper, and top off with 2-3 Tablespoons capers.

11Bake salmon in a 350 degree oven for 15-20 minutes depending on the thickness of the salmon.

12Salmon will be done when it flakes easily with a fork.
