- 3/4 c. flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. oil
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. (7 1/4 oz. pkg.) dates, chopped
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 2 c. shredded coconut
Directions

1Mix and sift first four ingredients.

2Make a well in mixture and add in order, oil, eggs and vanilla.

3Beat until smooth.

4Add dates, nuts and coconut.

5Turn into greased shallow baking dish (12 x 7 x 2-inch).

6Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes.

7Cut into bars while warm and remove from pan when cooled.
