- 2 1/2 c. sugar
- 8 eggs
- 2 c. pecans
- 4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 lb. oleo
- 1 tsp. coconut flavoring
- 2 tsp. butter flavoring
- 2 to 4 (6 oz.) jars maraschino cherries
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar.

2Add eggs, alternately with small amounts of flour until all flour and eggs have been used.

3Fold in nuts.

4Pour into 2 loaf pans that have been lightly greased and floured.

5Stuff cherries down into batter one at a time until you have as many cherries in as you might want.

6The cherry juice is not used.

7Bake at 300° for 1 hour.
