  • about 1 qt. canned fruit (use any type; apples, peaches, etc.)
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. milk
  • 2 tsp. baking powder

Directions

    Mix together flour, sugar and baking powder.

    Add milk slowly. Melt 1 stick margarine in deep pan.

    Pour batter in middle of pan.

    Drain fruit, cover batter with fruit and cook in oven at 325° for 30 to 40 minutes or until golden brown on top.
