  • 2 1/2 qt. pecans
  • 1 lb. candied cherries
  • 1/2 lb. red and 1/2 green, cut in small pieces
  • 1 lb. candied pineapple, cut in small pieces
  • 2 1/2 sticks butter
  • 1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
  • pinch of soda
  • 6 eggs
  • 3 c. plain flour
  • 2 oz. grape juice
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. allspice

Directions

    Mix nuts, fruit and flour until flour covers nuts and fruit good.

    Add other ingredients and let batter stand 30 minutes, then drop from small spoon onto a cookie sheet.

    Bake approximately 12 to 15 minutes in 350° oven.
