  • 4 eggs
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. flour
  • 4 tsp. vanilla or almond or 2 tsp. of both
  • 4 c. fruit (can use more)
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 c. vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp. baking powder

Directions

    Beat eggs; add remaining ingredient except fruit all at once. Cover bottom of Pyrex baking dish with drained fruit; sprinkle with sugar (white or brown).

    Drop batter or pour evenly over fruit.

    Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.

    Serve warm.
