Fruit Slush Salad

  • 1 orange
  • 1 lemon
  • 3 large bananas, sliced
  • 2 c. ginger ale
  • 1 c. finely chopped maraschino cherries
  • 20 oz. can crushed pineapple (undrained)
  • 6 oz. can frozen apple juice concentrate, thawed
  • 6 oz. can frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed

Directions

    In 3-quart nonmetallic container, combine bananas, pineapple, juice concentrates, ginger ale and cherries; mix well.

    Grate peel and squeeze out juice of orange and lemon; add to pineapple mixture.

    Cover; freeze 8 hours or overnight, stirring occasionally, for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

    Serve in small dessert dishes.
